:yeshrug: just trying to see.

Lord knows that's the only way the Knicks can get rid of him, if necessary...but just wondering what's around for them to trade him.

And I think the days of them trading big picks is over for a while anyway.

A Baker's cyst is a fluid-filled cyst that causes a bulge and a feeling of tightness behind your knee. The pain can get worse when you fully flex or extend your knee or when you're active.

A Baker's cyst, also called a popliteal (pop-LIT-e-ul) cyst, is usually the result of a problem with your knee joint, such as arthritis or a cartilage tear. Both conditions can cause your knee to produce too much fluid, which can lead to a Baker's cyst.

Although a Baker's cyst may cause swelling and make you uncomfortable, treating the probable underlying problem usually provides relief.

How about we don't bury people before the season even starts? The guy had a good year and a badish year (17 and 8) now he's finished ?
We amnestied billups to get chandler the reigning dpoy a move I'd do again . Not to mention if we didn't get amare we'd still be trash melo probably wouldn't want to come here but hey we could of tried to overpay Jj right ?

Just enjoy this middle tier seed three year playoff run then you can rebuild :laff:

Not a chance.

ANYBODY can get traded in this league, no matter the contract. We saw Juwan Howard traded with his contract, Guns In The Arenas to Orlando, we just saw Joe Johnson traded this offseason.

Breh let him talk like he clearly doesnt know what hes talking about. Were a better team now that we've amnestied billups and got chandler. His team got rid of half the bench mob and now rose is coming off an injury so I guarantee the Knicks will make more noise.

At this point Amar'e should have no leverage or say in how he's utilized. I like him but he's just not reliable. He needs to come off the bench with the second unit and if he doesn't like it, too fukking bad.

Wasn't Billups' contract expiring but then they picked up his option and then amnestied him?

The Knicks announced Wednesday that they would retain Billups for 2011-12 at his full salary of $14.2 million. They had until Friday to waive him, a move that would have cost $3.7 million.

Either way, the Knicks would be limited in free agency this summer, which made retaining Billups the most practical move.

Relax breh, season didn't even start yet and you want to bench him. He has leverage because he is still a good player at his worst (last year) he was still solid.

Can't blame Amare because he has bad knees, not like that was a secret. They couldn't even get insurance for his knee.

In fairness to the Knicks, they thought a $14 million expiring could fetch them something good. Then the lockout happened and then they got the amnesty clause and then plans changed.

It's not that I wanna bench him just cause, I want him to be in a position where he can be most effective. I'm rooting for Amar'e, I like him, and I've defended him a lot in the past. But it's time to face reality. He's injury prone, and too much of a liability defensively. He's still a a force offensively which is why I think he should be the leader of the second unit. He'll still get his minutes and touches, he needs to make that sacrifice so this team can take the next step.
