For the longest time, we needed a dominant post player who could get defensive rebounds (B/C other teams would dominate when it came to offensive rebounds and second chance points). We got Noah AND Gasol both avg 9 and 11 rebounds respectively. Pau is a decent post scorer and Noah is a premier defender in the perimeter and in the paint.
Jimmy Butler is one of the few guys who can effectively lock down lebron (although he could've been a bit better this time around) and he's becoming a pretty good scorer in his own right.
