Drag Me To Hell with my friend who gets caught up in uncontrollable laughter really easy. We seemed to be the only people in the room fully aware of Raimi's history in horror fukkery, and the only ones prepped for it. We laughed and cheered through the whole thing and when the goat called her a "black hearted whoo-hooo-hooore!" my buddy lost it so bad he kicked the back of the seat in front of him so hard nearly the entire row looked up. Then at the end some chick said to her boyfriend that she couldn't believe the director of Spider-Man made this and we laughed some more.

Speaking of my buddy, he also provided the most awkward movie theater experience I've ever had (I think I may have told this story before) when he lost his shyt at the ugly baby scene from Knocked Up. It was a packed house and I think he was laughing out loud, literally, for a full minute. He sat in the middle of our group and we all turned away from him on some "we don't know this man nor are we associated with him in any way" shyt.
your buddy sounds like a terrible movie goer :scusthov:
kicking seats in front of him and laughing for ages :scusthov:

As an adult? Probably Avengers. The audience was just :wow: during that final sequence.

As a kid? I dunno..maybe the Matrix? (I was just about to start high school).

Waited in line for 3 hours on my birthday to see it the first week it was released and haven't been as excited to see a movie since then.

The wait was worth it.

How old were you? You must be the oldest dude on here.

I watched A Beautiful Mind when I was 11 years old. It struck me deeply. Even at that young age.

Avatar, Interstellar all three of Nolan's Batmans left me rooted to my seat even after the film ended.

If only I had watched Sunshine when it was in theatres.
Was gonna mention both Avatar and Intersteller. Also a fan of Danny Boyle's Sunshine and of course the genre-defining movie that was TDK.

We have similar tastes. :ehh:

Also throw in Daniel Craig's bond films. As far as a more recent film is concerned, Mad Max: Fury Road takes the cake for me. That movie was captivating from beginning to end.

I had the whole theatre to myself once for Sherlock Holmes 2. That was weird but nothing like watching life of pi epic

Great minds think alike :ehh:
Craig's Bonds are a nice type of Bond, one less convoluted with gadgets and darker, more gritty. That was needed in the Bond series.

Mad Max blew my eyeballs away.. had to watch it twice in the cinema. The imagery :wow:
