Both...they make most of it in the U.S. or Peru something like that as opposed to Japan before.. I guess after 08' or 09' people really wasn't spending $100 on a shirt anymore so they had to do something to make up for it
But the quality just isn't there anymore but they still have some exclusive stuff still made in Japan
