I typically rented a game once and if I liked it I bought or I never rented it again.
As I got older I started to be able to judge games better and could pretty much have an idea of whether or not I would like a game based on screen shots, articles, etc.
I stopped renting in my late teens early 20's and just went and bought games on launch day that I was interested in.

Most of my rentals happened in the n64 era since the cartridges were more expensive...but most of the games were bought and kept

Blockbuster was just one of those feelings where you got the feeling of trying something new you weren't sure you wanted to buy...but looking back having to return after a few days and asking your parents to do it was a hassle

I never had to ask..I used to work when I was 12 and my mother got me a blockbuster card in my name and it has a password attached to it...once i said it, it was all good. I could rent anything.

Probably this since I couldn't find anywhere to buy it. Rented it like 2 or 3 times.

Renting a game more than once stopped though once I got a mod chip for my PS1. I'd rent a game and burn it, then have it forever:banderas:
