What game(s) have the most solid multiplayer and story mode combo?

A lot of games nowadays have either good multi and trash story or good story and trash multi. So what are some games that got both of these terrains right?
Doesn't matter thd time period of said game, though a more recent title would be preferred.

I dont play many recent games but it seems like TLOU hit it

God of War would be one to keep an eye out on if they choose to go the multiplayer route again

I heard the TF2 SP was good, I haven't peeped it though. I played some of the multiplayer and wasn't really feeling it, has some weird ass gay gameplay modes.

yeah SP is real good. it's kinda short, but the pacing is real good, and they keep introducing new mechanics. the story is whatever, but they got some cool 'buddy' moments with you and the Titan. the gameplay and level design are top notch though. and the way they keep switching shyt up, and introducing new mechanics, makes it so no mechanic outstays it's welcome

I honestly haven't touched MP, but I know some people like it
