What genres of music do you listen to that your peers don't expect

I'm talking about the genres where when you listen to it and know it, people that know you or have some sort of impression about you be like .....or they'll be like


Somebody always goin' throw my vinyls and looking like , "You listen to Electric Wizard?!?", "Ohh, you listen to Stereolab", "Cotdamn, you f*ck wit Morcheeba", and "GTFOH, whatchu know about dat Mastodon??"

Muhfukkahs look at you like you're an alien, and it's a mix between insulting / funny as hell to see some of the reactions
