What happened to Boise State?

A few years ago this team was producing a lot of NFL talent. Watching the game against Washington last night, they look like low level non-AQ team again. They definitely took a step back on talent when they should have been moving forward after all those wins. The quarterback looks lost, the WRs, DBs and both lines look weak. Only highlight is the running backs.

the wrs are better than last year when they won 11 games
the qb is in his second year and better than he was last year

the dbs are a bunch of freshmen which are weak


Step back in talent? boise has never signed 4 and 5 star guys, its been the same formula for years, from when kellen moore, titus young and doug martin were 2/3 stars

they contacted petersen in 2010 and he declined, so did ucla.

now look at their 2013 class

more 3 star recruits than 2, majority from california

I'll admit.. I haven't seen much on Finley (other than his youtube tapes) .. but I saw Patti first hand for all 4 years of his high school career. The kid can play. They consider him a duel threat cause he's got some wheels, and he'll take off .. but the touch on his passes and his accuracy is really impressive. I thought he was gonna end up at UCF. I actually was hoping he would, but his family fell in love with Coach Peterson.
