The Corolla? Cavalier? Geo metro?

Why aren't super basic and cheap cars like this made anymore, not worth it?

I guess that's what I want to know, why not? it's like there forcing everyone into cars starting at 40k+
Avg new car price is 30k so yeah if your credit ain’t shot to shyt 40k cars they will give you financing for which means a higher down payment just to keep the price under 40k after taxes

This thread reminds me of when I worked at Enterprise (2011-12) and the economy whips had manual locks and windows. There are still a few newer whips with em

https://www.motorbiscuit.com/do-any-new-cars-still-have-manual-windows/

Also I read this article about the last cars with bench seats, tape deck, etc

The Last Cars With Cassette Decks, Carbs, Bench Seats, and More

Like @BigMoneyGrip said, the new tech in all these cars has phased out the cheap whips. shyt we thought was a luxury 10 yrs ago like reverse cam and touch screen are standard

Here are a number of cars under $20K: https://www.motorbiscuit.com/cheapest-new-cars-20000-available-buy-2022/
