People know I'm a notorious Kendrick "hater" but let me keep it 100:
HiiPower was the first time I ever heard Kendrick. I thought

Not the greatest voice, but that opening line is nice***, beat's decent and I guess he's trying to be deep. The point is, I didn't think "oh this guy is wack."
All the buzz on Section80 was crazy. I listened to that shyt - sounded like a faux-Outkast weedplate. I thought Keisha's Pain was the other decent cut (because of the beat). I played it a couple times, then forgot about it.
then all of a sudden, Kendrick's overdoing these lame alien voices, the hype went into overdrive and nikkas fell for the ol "resurrection of Nas" okie-doke.
Kendrick's voice these days is at an all-time trash high. Act like people are too stupid to see the genius in TPAB when the lead artist's voice is basura
***Sidenote: Speaking of my
Kendrick never said anything impressive thread, not ONE duckworth even mentioned the opening line of HiiPower.

Yet these nikkas were supposedly listening to Kendrick before Dre got in the picture

"Visions of Martin Luther staring at me" is a good line. It's a great opener.
Most of y'all wouldn't know a good line if it hit you in the face.
