Rappers started singing.
The singers of this generation can’t really sing.
Lyrics are too vulgar.

nikkas only sang love songs to get at the broads. Once that was no longer required we stopped. Songs about fukking used to have to be wrapped in love. Now we straight fukkin. Alot of old school shyt is considered soft or doing too much. Nowadays you got chicks calling dudes simps .

This too. Notice modern R&B “singers” focus on being toxic and vulgar. They don’t care about appealing to the other gender. Everyone is too cool to be vulnerable and the music is suffering. Also auto tone, people not learning how to properly write music and play instruments anymore.
