Nas had got Quan a deal at Atlantic and set it up pretty well for him because of his relationship with Craig Kallman
That same summer in 2005, Quan particpated in an attempted robbery and was caught on trial and was locked up in 2006.
His side was, Nas wasnt loyal to him and stood by him while he was on trial....Nas' side was that was the last straw for him in terms of helping people get deals through his connections only for them to fukk it up. It wasnt even like Quan was someone from QB, just a dude LES liked and Nas liked and he was ready to mentor him and dude went ahead and blew it on some petty street shyt out of some loyalty to nikkas in VA.
..but yeah somehow Nas got the blame for Quan not blowing up. Go fukking figure lol

Nas always gets the blame for that shyt. dude did all this shyt for you, got you a deal & everything, put you on his album and all that then you rutn around and do an armed robbery & bytch about how he didn't pay for all your legal fees and come to the trial every day & put 100 Gs in your commisary.

i blame nas for letting these dudes feel comfortable enough to blame him for their shortcomings. Nas should break it down early to them that he isn't their daddies. He probably enjoys on some level getting these dudes sprung on him
