Like when did it become uncool to be positive ? I see dudes on here clown Lupe hard (just an example) and glorify Birdman and other violent music.

We gotta make a change man. Look at Chinx (RIP) The hood doesn't love anyone man. We gotta eradicate the hood mentality cause it's only gonna eat us and tear us down.

Rap used to be smart. I'm still confused as to how Flicka da wrist or whatever the song is called got #9

Rick ross, 2 chainz, weezy, future, Migos, chief keef, French Montana , Plies and young thug are specks of dirt added to a glass of clean water.

Todays mainstream hip-hop is a glass of water filled with a lot of dirt.

The biggest problem with hip hop isn't about positivity or negativity. The biggest problem is that it became generic. unchecked.

If industry folk were more honest, cared about the consumer base and were interested in selling quality product, they would allow anything into the game as long as it's creative and meaningful. Some rappers would naturally spit 'negative' shyt and 'positive' shyt.
