Polow tha don's over inflated ego rubbed a lot of people at interscope the wrong way and he lost his label deal and funding. Which is why hit boy got picked up by k.west and everyone else went into the proverbial bushes.
A lot of bullshyt went down at Zone 4 but in all he couldn't really get fans to anticipate another album after a long hiatus and put out mixtapes to try to circulate a buzz but it never happened...
In this day in age labels really only push artists who have some kind of hype or buzz going which is why a lot of artists are dropping mixtapes prior to albums to pretty much prove to the labels that they have people anticipating a project.

He didn't lose his label deal... but when you owe $5 Million dollars it's kinda hard to convince anyone to fund anything else for you...
