Alive and well, apparently. Samsung's Chromebook is the #1 selling laptop on Amazon right now.
I've run Jolicloud before and that uses chromium. Wasn't my cup of tea though.
What's wrong with it? Is it as complicated as Linux? Or was it just too far off from Windows?

This was probably 1.5 years ago but I remember it being limited to 100 GB and file mgt seemed like a mess to me. I've never run Linux before but I have run Windows and Mac OS. I remember thinking that stuff I could normally do in 1 or 2 actions taking 4 or 5 steps.
I was using the box as a media machine mostly and I got annoyed with it after about a month. It was fast, but it wasn't very intuitive imo.
