Heavenly as in garbage? or mediocre at best?

those beats were moody and dark but not very good. If there's one album that needs the remix treatment, it's definitely Soul on Ice.

In the Silver Lining
never heard that album to this day:yeshrug:

is it worth checking out?

East Coast Nas/Busta Rhymes/Redman.

Southern one man Outkast.

Eminem followed his self deprecating/comedic style.

Pre-Kendrick Lamar in terms of West Coast lyrical dexterity.

So yes, you need to listen to
Soul on Ice as part of a Ivy League Hip Hop education.

everbody said the Soul on Ice beats was wack.

He addressed that on his 2nd album in the beginning of this joint

"I don't give a fukk about a beat"

:mjlol:

Then proceeds to spit on a wack beat

:francis:

Nah that beat was funky.

The thing is Ras has flowed effortlessly over literally over any production.
