Just decided to do some nostalgic listening of music I haven't listened to in a while, and I know it's not some unknown band or some shyt but I haven't heard any music from them in a while and they were dope enough to have lasting power :ohhh:
.

That build up to Little Dragon's section :noah:

They put out a album like last year
:ohhh: I didn't hear shyt about it. I guess it didn't really get any play :francis:. Is it any good?

Most bands and groups you get maybe 2 good albums out of them at most before they fall off.

This is like asking what happened to Daft Punk. They're still one of the greatest duos of all time, they just not releasing music or not in the mainstream eye atm. It comes and goes in waves.

They released an album not to long ago.
I believe it was reviewed by dt.
Plus i wanna say twilite tone produced on it too.
Or tone produced on the blur frontman solo album or some shyt like that.
I forget whether or not the lead singer from blur is the gorillaz frontman from time to time too.
As they really not my cup of tea like that but i know who they are in the market place. Plus their level and quality of music is typically high quality. for their mashup genre based music.

U less it is astra or tool.
I really do not check for rock based genre music anymore. So excuse my lack of knowledge on rock at this point. Weened myself off rock tbh.

I remember when they played daft punk and gorillaz on toonami back in the days.

That daft punk cd, with "one more time"
is such a fukkin classic to me.

The anime music videos were tough too.

I think that's the only non hip-hop n r&b album I ever owned.

:wow:
I remember that shyt like it was yesterday, I got into anime cause of daft punk and I listened to that first gorillaz album years later, amazing shyt, you’d figure cartoon bands would’ve been the wave afterwards.

The last album they put out was real solid it's just that ACTUAL music doesn't appeal to kids today. But they are probably one of the best fusion bands to have come out.
They just dropped a song with George benson that’s really good

Going to check this shyt out tonight. Saturday nights are usually my music nights since I actually get caught up with some work around that time before Monday :mjcry: and like to listen to some tunes while doing so.

They still release albums , they just don’t have anything that really stand outs

I’ve been a fan of them since 2005 , there’s a yearbook photo of me in middle school wearing there t shirt lol
