I'm sitting here loud up, listening to King Sun's "be black", and wondering what happen to rap being black music that was about upliftment? This shyt is funky, and makes you think. It is not about fake pride, but really making us question each other:ufdup:

He deals with fake" problacks" who think hating white people, and saying you are from Africa, means being black. How we don't support each other in business by buying from others, and spending money you don't have:mjpls:

He even touched on liking lightkin(redbone) chicks, and darker skin women hating on him for it, but he explains why with the truth:whew:. Dark skin chicks are still the shyt, to me:shaq:

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MUSIC?:wow:

Even now, when things are independent, and artists can speak their minds, they don't do what King Sun did, and he was on a major label.

I think if more music comes out like this, its going to change the vibe of our people because too much are blind, deaf, and dumb. Repeating history, having money, or having a good job doesn't make you black, just like being a thug, player, or killer doesn't make you black. It's a group cohesiveness that has, and its our power, UNITY! And striving for perfection in all areas of life. This is the meaning of BLACK POWER:salute:

Black is Family, and we need to wake up, y'all. One love!:blessed:
