While the South has definitely changed like all of America due to cost of living...

When you go somewhere during summer break as a kid yearly that becomes the lens you see it in. A kid on summer break visiting their family.

When you become an adult, with adult responsibilities and move in the same place to live that becomes the lens you see that same place. And then you wonder what happened.

Beyond the rambling, the crux of his argument seems to be southern cities have become too corporate, people have changed, oh and “ya’ll getting BBL’s now? What?? :what::pachaha:

There’s a lot of validity to what he’s saying, but this is the case everywhere. People move in from different states/countries, developers build the same strip malls in every location, culture is lost. The once charming small to mid sized towns where everyone knew each other became overpopulated, overpriced, and devoid of their identity.
