I always wondered what happened to dude. Last i heard from dude was he put out a couple joints with The Awesome Sound, that mitape that the crew and that F.I.F.A. video and it looked promising. He got signed to Warner then him and his brother just fell off the face of the earth.

Dude is a lowkey pioneer of the nonthreatening and regular joe J. Cole/Wale/Drake generation... Really he was the black Logic before Logic :ohhh:
A lot of those artists were in the game before XV. XV is probably closest to logic and was better than logic too. Jcole produced XV's song smallvile and they were cool with each other

XV was going to debut with an album on warner bros records, dropped a prelude mixtape (zero heroes) and then album got shelfed :mjcry:

Zero Heroes is one of the most underrated mixtapes that dropped this decade.

Anyone that hasn't heard XV, give that a listen...it sounded like a complete album. XV was a monster. He was the nerd type of rapper that loved making video game/comic book references but it didn't sound corny. Warner Bros just burried him completely and was never heard from again. I don't even think he still raps anymore. What a shame

Seems like WB didn't know how to promote him. Because getting in with that nerd/anime/comic book/video youtube audience is what helped Logic get his initial traction.
