I remember John being real tight with Kanye, Common and John Legend in the mid 2000's.

I was excited about it cause I was a fan of Mayer and Kanye and Common were my fave hip-hop artists at the time (Common still is).

But they used to always hang out and then you just didn't hear about them being together anymore.
