IF they did, Sony and Nintendo would pump billions into poaching the talent from the studio to get them to join their in-house teams.

If you are offering a Rockstar employee more time off, no crunch time and better benefits they'll jump ship to work for insomniac or suckerpunch.

Microsoft made a choice and decided on blizzard because it was a lightning in a bottle opportunity.
Take two just bought zynga. They’re not thinking of being acquired.
Microsoft would then own a large chunk of mobile gaming market share which would give them ftc problems
I think fb/meta is buying take two for occulus content and to make sure Microsoft/Sony won't be able to make the same metaverse/vr content.
Fb makes more sense than Sony or Microsoft
