What if Jason Kidd was the franchise PG for the Spurs and not tony Parker?

More championships?
Less championships?

This is something that I've just recently started to read up on. For anyone who doesn't know. Following the 2002-2003 campaign, Jason Kidd was actually set on going to the Spurs after the season was over, posters/articles were already made in regards to Kidd moving on to the Spurs, leaving Parker to either be traded or moved to the 2 position.

Even RC Buford was going to nets games to see Kidd play and it was all kept under wraps until Parker showed his displeasure publicly.

Ten years after striking out with Jason Kidd, the Spurs follow Tony Parker's lead to NBA Finals

But apparently he didn't go because Joumana and family were not sold on leaving Metropolitan new york.

Neither one could shoot until later in their careers...

They might have an extra ring...at most 2...

The real question would be if you put Duncan with just an attacking 2 guard or point guard...or just a pure shooting point guard...

Duncan with nash...

Or Duncan with Harden...I'm thinking Pop stands as good a chance as anyone getting him to play defense...

a team of Prime Duncan and Prime Kobe would probably win titles...forever...they might still be winning titles right now...

When are you going to stop pushing these lies? Parker was among the best PGs from midrange, ever since his first few seasons in the league.

Parker was hitting 36% on midrange jumpers (308 attempts) and Ginobili was hitting 24% on jumpers (37 attempts) in 2002/2003
Parker was hitting 36% on midrange jumpers (302 attempts) and Ginobili was hitting 33% on jumpers (86 attempts) in 2003/2004
Parker was hitting 40% on midrange jumpers (345 attempts) and Ginobili was hitting 28% on jumpers (71 attempts) in 2004/2005

So basically you're talking shyt about Parker not being able to hit shots outside of 12 feet in the first half of his career and you're talking shyt about 'Prime Manu' having to play with a PG that couldn't shoot, when in fact he was the one that couldn't shoot.
