I went to an all black high school and I wasn't taught anymore about black history than I was taught in the white schools I went to. I feel like kids need to be taught. Watching one or 2 videos about slavery and civil rights isn't enough and a lot of black kids don't even get that. A bunch of parents don't even teach their kids because they feel like they will learn it in school.

Also, I cannot tell from the pic whether any of those kids have respect for themselves. I assume the young black man has parents that didn't explain certain things to him. or maybe they did, and he chose to behave that way anyway.

I can't condone this ... but, I can tell you this about me -- I'm of irish descent, and other than drinking guinness (and white guilt), I could not give a shyt about my heritage. "heritage and tradition are dead people's baggage - quit carrying it" -- doug stanhope.

No idea if any or all of the kids involved share that view, or if they're very engaged in learning about their respective cultures. I would hope the black kid is engaged in learning his heritage ... even if he eventually ends up like me.

Terrible example and itd take more than that scenario for a sketch like that to be well executed. You and stanhope (whos hilarious) are white PERIOD. Cant compare hangings and beheadings that happened in the medieval era that was due to corruption and power tripping to poor, guilty and framed to the 400 years of slavery, racism then post slavery's babies; segregation, discrimination, hate crimes, etc. All aimed at one race whos only "sin" was to have a different skin color. Their isnt hate groups against your people that exist to this day. How many white children have died that wasnt due to pedophilia, ransoms, etc but because of their skin color? Other parts of the world have played along in the hate
