I was doing some random ass thinking the other day... Punk, Del Rio, Mysterio, Lesnar, and a few more others should make their own promotion together :lupe:

Would never happen tho

WWE will be fine, all it needs is a few new guys with real "star power"

Outside of Brock and maybe Rollins WWE has no major stars left.

It would be sad for me being a fan for as far back as I can remember. There's never been a time when I took an extended leave from watching. It can be fixed if Vince and company were willing to fix it, but it's obvious they aren't. Everyone thinking Trips would make everything right is mistaken IMO, he may do some things differently but I'm not too sure it would be a complete 180.

The game has changed too much for them to stay set in their ways, to quote Trips "adapt or perish".

idk if I said this before here, but I think the number one wrestling promotion of this era would be a company that does a lot of social media events and viral marketing and is produced as a Netflix exclusive like all those tv shows (blacklist, house of cards, marco polo) and comedy specials they do.

Not contingent on WWE dying for it to happen really, but if WWE did die a company like that would be miles ahead of their competition in terms of visibility. And Netflix would have the money to sign those ex WWE stars.

Dolp Zilga could be the real Internet Champion

edit: forgot to mention the only promotions that would come close to their production value would be LU and NJ

Triple H wouldn't retire :mjlol: that dude would do whatever it took to get a good TV deal and start his own promotion. That's were most talent would end up going.

If somehow HHH is also out of the equation, then Jarrett would try to get that spot.

If all of a sudden WWE folded you can bet on guys like Taker, Austin, Jericho, Regal, Jim Ross and the Kliq either trying to capitalize on it or helping whoever tries to start a new promotion.

I'm an old head. It broke my heart when Vince Russo effectively killed my WCW.

They were the promotion I identified with.

But if WWE died I would feel a sense of nostalgia for American wrestling, but not for Vince's product.

It would simply be the end of an era. Kinda like when the Knicks became trash, or the Pistons, or the Lakers.
