What is considered old school now?

Last week I watched the video for Players Anthem by Junior Mafia on Youtube - this one specifically:



Check the uploader name and the caption in the video that says Old School Hip Hop

It kind of took me aback when I saw it ... then I realized that the song is 21 years old

It just tripped me out that a song I heard when I was a teenager is now considered old school, and it makes sense considering how old the song is, but still ...

My question is that I've always considered the 80s to be old school, but have we crossed the threshold that the 90s fall under that bracket too?
