What the hell kind of question is this. If you are making 20 an hour and working full time why is a $5-10K car the only thing u can afford?

Depends on the discipline and the University. More than likely you'll have to buckle down a little more than undergrad with your studies. But on the other hand your input during class will be taken more seriously. You also will be exposed to the 'business' side of college a bit more.
If you're thinking of a for-profit University, banish the thought immediately.
