What is happening in the tiktok world?

It's been many moons since I last used tiktok so today I decided to grab the ad-free version mod and all I see are videos on the following stuff like
- end of the world
- spiritual awakening
- movitional videos
- new government system coming out
- how to get better careers
- odd facts
- some aliens shyt

Are people being brainwashed on this app?

Also, I noticed that the videos are longer so uploaders also known as content creators who use the app get more air time


Anyways, I think instagram is kind of losing its course and tiktok is now the champ but I really don't trust either corporation

I don't have the app. I used to hate seeing tik tok dance vids, but now people send me conspiracy theory and political vids from it, I would rather get the dance vids I hated.

Every single TikTok I've seen has not been on TikTok. Have no plans on changing that either.

I only watch Tik Tok on YouTube.

I don't see none of that, or the dances that people always complain about.

The TikTok algorithm is truly 5 stars. If you actually engage with the content you like (by liking videos, commenting, following users you like and letting the app know what you aren't interested in) it's pretty much the only stuff it will spit at you.

My TikTok is:
-Sports (40%)
-Comedy (35%)
-Thot shyt (10%)
-Video games (5%)
- Movies (5%)
- Random stuff the app thinks I may like (5%)

None of the gay ass dancing and lip synching. An easy way to quickly get rid of that is by blocking verfied users that will flood your feed initially, especially the bigger accounts. I've found that their content is the most corny, annoying and unoriginal.
