As soon as there's a lapse in your insurance, it's like they send out a memo and everyone becomes a heat-seeking missle on the road on some WW4 Mario Kart shyt :why:

Facts. That’s why I don’t play with that shyt anymore. I be paying my insurance days early. About to start paying in full for 6 months.

Always pay your rent and your insurance. Letting it lapse will have you fvcked up with the DMV. You can’t be out there with a suspended license
exactly and these pigs will run your plates, and suspend your license depending on the state of course might even take you into custody.
I had a one day lapse and I had 3 squad cars trying to hem me up, luckily I had Police Fam that backed me up and these CACS ran my plates while I was parked at work. Since I wasn't driving they was following me to my car and I noticed them so I called my boy and he came through since he was close by. What y'all don't know is they send a notice to the DMV and they put a flag on your plates and it doesn't get removed automatically when you get new insurance you have to go to to the DMV and have them Fax a request to your new insurance and them to receive that fax back from The insurance company took me a whole fukking day in the DMV, shyt happened one time 20 years ago my dumb ass ex trying to save money switched insurance and let it lapse for a day due to a payment snafu. That was the process back then in NY IDK how it is now cause I broke up with that irresponsible woman and I never had another lapse or late bill in my life. Been 2 decades and she still does this shyt on the regular she is the overdraft queen always late on rent , insurance but always got the latest iphone and the newest Jordans shorty you don't even play ball
