It's a full time job. No breaks/vacays and no sick days lol. It's totally worth it though, nothing and no one beats the love that a child brings. Your their world and vice versa. The first time your child is able to tell you they love you aww man can't beat it. Just aways have to be mindful of what you do and say because your their role model and they'll be looking up to you.

Each day is different. But it's amazing watching a little tiny baby grow into a little person with their own thoughts, ideas, and personality.

Kids look up to you. They want to do everything you do and say everything you say. I have to watch everything I say because it will be repeated at some point. I use that to introduce a wide range of vocabulary into their diets. If they are going to repeat what I say, they might as well use advanced language.

Also, kids don't forget anything. If you say you are going to do something, they will hold you accountable. It doesn't matter how much time has gone by.

You are right. I was about 6, and I saw this dress that had a cat on it made of glitter. I wanted it SO bad :sadcam: My Grandma (raised me) told me that we'd come back for it. We never did :mjcry: Fast forward to about 5 years ago, we passed by that asian market- and I mentioned the dress. I told her, and she felt SO bad!

It's a he hardest job you will ever have.

It's a constant stress, always worried about them.

No rest, no nothing. Just 24/7 on duty parenting. They get sick, u r up all night with them. Catching their colds. They don't eat, u have to figure out new ways to please them and entertain them. They constantly depend on you for everything.

You end up spoiling them too much they turn into brats. It's a constant battle.

But they so beautiful :mjcry:

Only advice I truly have is, choose the mother of your future children wisely. And don't have kids just to have kids. There is a strategy to this. And always take care of your kids. No matter what.

Man I love kids so much, I can only imagine how stressed I'd be trying to make sure I did right by my own.

I still have alot of traveling I want to do, but I really want kids soon.

Good ladies were yall at. :mjcry:
I feel you. We're ummm, in the process. Not not trying... I'm so excited/scared... but we're in a place financially that it works, and our relationship is there...

More people answer :damn:

i have 4 kids and its the greatest thing in the world too me watching something u created grow up right before your eyes and even have your traits.
the joy u feel to hear them call ur name or they sleep with u in the bed cuz u all stayed up late watching finding nemo or wall-e.
when they get hurt u kiss their boo boo and put a band aid on it to make them feel better and reassure them nobody got ur back but u do.
they bring their homework from school and u help them and they look at u like ur smart ass shyt but u over here using google cuz u forgot some of the shyt on how to do it.

the joy in their eyes for christmas
their first time walking or calling ur name

too many great things bout being a parent

dont have kids if ur aren't ready mentally or financially either.
dont ever abandon ur kids even if u and the mom go ur separate ways always be that pillar to support them and be their as often as u can cuz they will always need a mother and father

my daughter literally saved my life, I've dedicated the last 8 years to being the best father I can possibly be and in turn it's turned me into a better person than I would have thought possible.

her mother and I have been split up since she was two and despite being rough at first we're great friends now and help each other in any way we can.

I take care great care not to spoil her in any way that will damage her perception of what "real life" is but at the same time she is so advanced and such a well adjusted and behaved child for her age I make sure she has everything she deserves. I make about 50k a year so it's not like I'm rich but I make sure we go on trips every year and recreate the best parts of my own childhood while trying my best to avoid all of the bad shyt I remember. I have just as much fun as her I think with everything I do.

I was going down a different path before all this, I have so much gratitude for my little girl.
