What is the best year of the attitude era

1997 the great begining had peak stsrs like shawn michels bret hart and rise of Austin
1998 what i considered the peak on midst of the monday night wars and austin undertaker mankind kane etc proving themselves as top stars
1999 i think may be the worst. Can't really name a good ppv besides survior series and wrestlmania.
2000 the final year to me and one of the best epically the beginning and end of the year

97 had the Austin bret feud but 2000 had great PPV after great PPV. including the GOAT backlash 2000.

2001 had 6-7 months of the invasion angle. The best year they had was 2000. Good matches, all the stars got to grow, all but 1-2 angles at the top of the card reached a logical conclusion, and the payoffs made sense. 1999 wasn't very good honestly. Matches were too short frequently, the angles all felt rushed, so many run ins and fukkery that took precedent over everything, and wrestlemania wasn't very good honestly. I'll look up the wrestlecrap induction of it and try to link it. Then of course we also had Vince reveal himself as the higher power.

1997. It wasn't full on attitude but had enough. Still had enough wrestling and the focus wasn't on the McMahon's! 2000 is a close second due to the quality of the wrestling.

Yup. 97 is probably their best well rounded year. Plus it's got my favorite version of Shawn, the hart foundation, Austin, the nation, the beginnings of the rock and the undertaker got his mojo back. 97 really did feel like anything could happen at any time. Still 2001 had the best mania and 2000 may have had their best roster from top to bottom

The low mid card and bottom of the card for 98 was ass but the top of the card is legit GOAT in wrestling history

The WWE really started ramping up the quality of their matches, the tag team division was on fire, the Rock and a later returning Austin being the two biggest things ever. GOArT (who invented that) Angle having the best rookie year etc etc etc...
