Is it  really acceptance of all human bodies?

Or is it complacency of non-healthy lifestyles for women, while shaming men with the exact same lifestyles?
:jbhmm:

Is it  really seen as acceptable for all men to wear grey sweatpants just like it is for women to wear leggings?
:jbhmm:

:dame:

I'm starting to think the :flabbynsick: women who are encouraged through this movement see the flabby men as.....

Why does Lizzo get overwhelming public support while Ross gets none?
:jbhmm:

Ross and Gabriel Igelasis (?) and that other fat fukk don’t catch shyt for being a buffalo betty

Lizzo does. But the kicker is Lizzo doesn’t apologize per se for being big mama status, shes on the defensive so people of similar build and view command her for it

A part of me respects her tbh

A lot of these movements are made for/attract people who have no other personality or spark. By becoming part of a crowd it gives them something to base their identity around. Not to mention the fellowship etc.. Modern day religions in that respect except they offer a different kind of gaslighting.

It's about the bodypositive crowd, not the men

Men tend to be misogynistic online towards every woman who doesn't look like an IG model

This thread is about the #bodypositive crowd. Their support and lack thereof for the women and men who both should have equally positive perception

Because this country hates poor people lets be for real
It hates fat people too. Difference is, one is less accepted than the other. Whilst ironically, one is more controlable regardless of external circumstances.

That should be another topic, what’s hated more in society? Broke or fat people? :patrice:

In society women's attractive value is primarily based on conventional beauty.

So if you're not conventionally beautiful, people tend to make a lot of negative comments about your body

Sometimes the negativity can cause a never-ending cycle of eating more and withdrawing from society

So larger women took it upon themselves to start a campaign to accept everyone no matter the size

AKA why be negative when you can be positive

Of course when corporations jump on the bandwagon and push fat women as beauty campaigns, society recoils at the premise of big women loving themselves and being confident

AKA how dare u try to have the standards of a supermodel when you're grossly obese

Which in turn caused women to form a stronger coalition of supporting each other because body self esteem is a problem
