You say no rent. But is this hypothetical person debt free? Gonna need a full breakdown of expenses, or at least a much better one than just not paying rent. Outside of that it depends on how material you are. Like a poster already stated at some point you can buy so much.

I work in a bank and some little known facts the more money you make the more you can borrow. Most people don't ever buy anything outright they finance it. So to answer your question one way is that the difference is the more you can borrow. The other way is pretty much nothing. We're so materialistic is crazy you can drive one car live in one house watch one tv at a time. Only thing I did more than when i didnt have as much is travel in IMO. Long as I can eat what i want drink what i want and have my fam/a down chick life is good.
