I'm torn...Chunin Exams was great but the Dark Tournament is basically the template

Dark Tournament is THE foundation when I think of a Tournament Arc. It's the bar for me.

Chunin Exams had a great mix, honorable 2nd.

My underrated favorite is Koga vs Iga in Basilisk, but going by the list I'm going with Dark Tournament. Too many aura moments. Music, animation, voice acting top notch.

Dark Tournament is the GOAT imo, so I'll have to rep for Battle City. That was just as hype as DT for me as a kid, Malik was a dope ass villain.

Shame most folks only know the watered down American version.

Only people that would say its not Dark Tournament is the ones that havent seen it. Or maybe you watched another one beforehand that made a strong impact like Chunin. But DT clearly is the best to ever do it
