what is the pecking order inside prison??

i have never been to prison
but we hear all of these stories about "pecking orders" amongst the inmates

we hear child rapists and child killers are at the bottom
and regular rapists are also lower than dirt

but what is the full pecking order?

what about a man who killed his wife and her lover when he caught them cheating in bed?
or a man who killed someone on some righteous revenge?
versus an armed robber who killed trying to feed his habit?

nearly everyone in prison did something that was reprehensible to someone
so what is the pecking order?

No idea, and I don't ever want to find out what the pecking order is first hand.

But I've read former inmates online say that the idea that pedophiles get serious beatdowns in prison is largely an overblown myth.
Pedophiles and such tend to be housed separately in prisons for their own protection.

u have generals, lieutenants, soldiers, etc, etc. like the military.

there so much it would take 2 days to explain it all

one thing for sure if u go to prison get ready to roll with your own race and mind your own business. u can become a snitch in prison and they would put u in another part of prison with other snitches and u can do your time out there and u don't have to worry about the race thing

Blacks and mexicans are the head but depending on the location it can go either way. whites are normally at the bottom.

I did some reading on the subject and talked to a few family members that have been locked up, all of them seem to have the same story more or less, you stick to your own race, you dont deal with other races in any capacity even if you arent racist, you dont talk to people in PC, and you dont get into shyt with the top dog.

I havent talked to anyone whose been really deeply involved in prison culture outside maybe a few fights and maybe trading some shyt, most of them say keep your head up, dont fukk with anyone, dont let anyone fukk with you and you should be straight. So on top of my already limited perspective, I dont know much about ganglife or any of that.

But there's this really cool web forum where inmates go and tell what its like where they were imprisoned, they talk about race, guards, life and all that shyt. I think its called Prisontalk but I might be wrong, like I know there''s a prisontalk website but I think it may have been another site I was on
