The illusion of justice, is even better than justice, as it gives wiggle room for everyone. It's not cheating of you don't get caught. :manny:

Idk, a little fukkery is :ld: for the top and the bottom, as long as there's no physical or rape shyt. It's just that our fukkkery way exceeds any real logic, and the top's fukkery destroys global economies.

sounds like you can do all that without laws
lots of wiggle room without laws
plenty of rape with laws

A law is a rule set by a political community and acknowledged as controlling by the constituents of said community. Generally, the members of the community acknowledge the rule as being "law" because: (1) they believe the rule is consistent with their personal morality; (2) the rule does not fit within their morality, but the people or process creating the rule are morally superior, or (3) at the very least, constituents don't believe the rule to be immoral on its face. Constituents may also view the rule as being a key component of cultural identification. For example, "You are not American unless you believe in the First Amendment."

The "point" of any given law lies in the intention of the political community that created it.

I know, but without the illusion of law, and a sense that the aggrieved could get justice, you have anarchy. You have a Wild West atmosphere. People need to feel like their government responds to them in that the evil can be punished. The main question is what do people feel evil is.

Let's put a pin in this
it' something we will come back to
I would question the quality of, and even the plausibility of the illusion at this moment in American life.

We're still talking about America though. Other countries have more strict interpretation of their laws, and there are fewer laws. Our laws seem to placate people, and are loosely applied with Judge's discretion, which is why minimum mandatory sentences were introduced.

See above. I get your point completely, and you raise a very good question.
