Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
We got Jordan yall, he's with us again :blessed:

That said, in his letter I couldn't help but notice this line -
I have the greatest respect for their sacrifice and service.

I always hear about this, but it never makes any kind of sense to me, what is this sacrifice? Can someone help explain what sacrifice cops are making that other professions aren't? You never hear about the sacrifice roofers, loggers or long shore fishermen make, and they have worse pay and a higher rate of fatality than police. There's no reverence for the long shore fisherman that could die in about 100 different ways just to get you your lobster or crab. I mean base pay for NYPD after 5 years is $60,000 without overtime and with overtime most of these dudes are making around $100k or more. For example the top earner in overtime 2 years ago made $82,000 extra ontop of his $112,000 salary, these dudes are pulling in serious money all across the country.

They have a pension, benefits out the ass and a strong union all while having a job that isn't even statistically top 10 for most dangerous, they don't get nearly the amount of hate as people working in retail get. So where or rather what is the sacrifice I keep reading about?

Hmm, statistically speaking, does a being a black male in America carry the same risk as being a cop in America--without the privilege and authority?

Both can get killed at any given moment. :jbhmm:

To answer your question. The service they provide is upholding the law and protecting citizens who are unable to defend themselves. The sacrifice is the hours they spend away from their family and friends to work another thankless job. A cop has a higher chance of dying on duty than you do at whatever job you have... Most likely. Once again, I'll have to check stats.

1) Except they don't uphold the law, the citizens and judicial people do. Apprehending someone after the fact isnt upholding the law.

2) If they show up after the fact then how were you protected by said officer? They don't come around until the action is already over. If I punched in your shyt, how did a cop protect you from me?

3)That depends on your job.

Paid well for minimum service provided and benefits out the ass. Talking about sacrifice. 90% of they job is sitting in the car on the phone.:mjlol:

It's comedy, dudes dying left and right for $18 an hour to fix your roof, no type of reverence for them for literally helping to keep a roof over peoples heads.

The coli really lacks common sense and knowledge

The contrarian moron is here :blessed: bless us with more thoughts from the mind that is 3,770 in the red :wow:

Miss me with this bullshyt, most of these dudes get into this line of work A) Because they're not qualified/ too lazy to do anything else with their lives, B) For the iota of tenuous power that comes with the position. I defy anyone to find a cop who wouldn't up and leave for greener pastures if the opportunity was handed to him, fukking legends in their own minds, all of them

Everyone sacrifices time from family to do their job, the fukk? Damn near every job in this country is thankless ontop of that.

Their "service" is paid for, people act like these dudes are out there free of charge trying to make the world a better place. The second they feel like they're underpaid they threaten to go on strike too:mjlol:

Aint no difference between a cop doing his job and the garbage collector .... we pay out taxes for you to do your job, im not supposed to be fukking grateful because you perform the function you voluntarily signed up for and are compensated for....

:dead:

Too true, it's a level of propaganda at work to keep people in order, only morons can't see it. The police are being deified to keep people in line, anyone who questions their "sacrifice" is jumped on. There are far more dangerous jobs that don't get the same level of reverence, hell garbage men are more likely to die on the job than cops.
