What is the soundtrack for work for the day?

Thought I'd try this as I know there are varied things we all listen to.

I'm done with month end close so I'm going some additional ad hoc reports for various people. I'm also in charge of the project for transitioning data from one accounting software to another. We are moving from mip abila to financial edge. We got live April 1st so I'm just going to have on some random hip hop today, let Pandora do its thing then later on, sports radio.

Just curious about what everyone is going to be vibing to today.

First half of the day, or thereabouts, I listen to talk radio. Second half it's a toss up among TV, Jazz, Classical, or whatever music is on my phone.

Oddly enough, edm for repetitive tasks. Rap for challenging tasks or deadlines.

I mainly listen to jazz while working from home. Typically spiritual jazz like Pharaoh Sanders or Alice Coltrane. After work I throw on some rap...whatever I'm listening to at the time. Today it was Isiah Rashad and Biggie.

I also listen to rap towards the end of the day when I'm prepping for the morning (going over emails for instance)

I'm going between Stevie Wonder's greatest hits and Michael Jackson output from Bad to his childhood. Mixing in some live performances with album cuts.

I have a new person starting on my staff next week so I have her orientation stuff to look over from HR. I'm also looking up some ad hoc reporting that we can use to give additional clarity to our financials so today is largely a play in Excel day.
