I'm not saying it's anything to be proud of per se, nobody is perfect and women in fact feel uneasy around men who don't have a visible flaw. They feel that the man is hiding who he is.

To be fair, that shyt actually worked on me before I knew better. My gut instinct was to try to be 'better' than those men, only to have that same woman ghost me later on

It's a tactic they use to make sure they are in control of when the courtship ends, not you. You don't wanna be like those OTHER guys, so then you put up with her games until she eventually leaves you on read and moves on.
