That's why you got to get a salaried job with paid sick leave. I only called in sick 2x (Was legit sick as a dog) but I have a job where you can work from home - If I didn't then it'd probably be 4. We get 5 sick days per year and 3 personal days that can be used for sick leave on top of the 10 PTO days (not to mention 4 summer days).

I go to work sick, I don't care. I'm the type of person where I feel worthless unless I'm doing something progressive rather it's working out, taking a class or doing extra work. Like if I sit on the couch and relax for more than a hour. I start thinking like wtf I'm doing. I should be doing something worthwhile.
