Unions shouldn't be able to abuse power.
I know a girl a& her husband works for I don’t remember FedEx or UPS & she told me they can throw boxes on porches & front steps & all & not get fired because of unions.

I do shyt on unions and blue collar workers because I was amongst them and I saw the other side of it.
Most people are lazy and abuse the protection the unions give them once they are locked in. Become unreliable and hard to fire. Corporate gets away with murder because people still need jobs. Beggars don't chose.
Don't be shocked in john deer star manufacturing in another country and scale down production. This isn't the end it's for now.

Unions are weird in what they cover and don't. I work in gov, social/civil services. A co-worker killed someone, got fired, went to the union and got her job back. A breh left work and went home cause his wife and some guy she was fukking were packing up shyt and moving her out. He went there and raised hell, pulled out his heat. Nobody harmed or injured, no physical fight. Dude called 911 and wanted the cops to get them out of his house. Damn near fired on the spot after 15 years.

Wonder if we will see more of this. I’m not sure I buy it happening at Amazon given the lack of skill involved. John Deere literally could not replace these people - the painters, the people who worked the machines, etc. Whereas Amazon can always find someone who can move a box from point A to point B.

I was a Teamster when I worked for the state a few years back. Cats showing up drunk/high, stealing equipment , using department vehicles to pick up they girl/kids. Lazy mfs who been there for 10+ doing absolutely no work cuz they knew nothing would happen to them
Most they’d get was a 10 day suspension and maybe a demotion depending on they job title.
