I was a Teamster when I worked for the state a few years back. Cats showing up drunk/high, stealing tools, using department vehicles to pick up they girl/kids. Lazy mfs who been there for 10+ doing absolutely no work cuz they knew nothing would happen to them

Most they’d get was a 10 day suspension and maybe a demotion depending on they job title.
You anti-union because your local had some shytty members?

It's not a coincidence that America was more secure and prosperous when union membership was higher

and a lot of people who are leaving their jobs are switching to union jobs.

At CAT, they stay walkin workers out on 10 day suspensions:mjlol:

They got a lot of supplemental workers out there. Mostly forklift drivers. They are probably the easiest to replace. I'm a machinist, and a lot of those brehs miss work like it aint shyt because they know it is a little tougher to replace them. I dont fukk around though. I got zero call-ins since i been there lol

That's correlation not causation. I'm not saying unions didn't do the work. But they were a piece of the puzzle and not the majority of it.

America was more secure and prosperous because the "shareholder trumps all" mindset hadn't set in yet and the rest of the world were still recovering from WW2.

Poverty is manufactured in the US. If Bezo paid all of his employees 6 fig, he would still be a billionaire. He elects to not pay everyone.

Bezos being a billionaire has to do with how much money people are putting into Amazon stocks, not how much revenue or profit Amazon makes.

Now if there's evidence that he's putting 50% of Amazon's profits into stock buyback, then I stand corrected.

He could certainly pay his employees more. The most generous, inflationed, minimum wage numbers is $26/hr. Amazon could certainly pay that and most likely still not take a major hit on profit.

But those are two different arguments.
