I remember back when black people were the "cool" race.
Back when you could go a full year and every number 1 hit was from a black artist.
Back when everyone wanted to dress like us.
Back when even video games were based around our culture.

What happened? Nowadays shyt is weak as hell and on top of that white people put hands on black people whenever they feel like it wthout thinkin twice

Many of us have tried to adapt and conform to societal standards so whites would be more accepting. little did they know it takes away from your originality. All of us want to fit into this mainstream American culture and not offend anyone.hell,you even have some black people who will go out of their way to prove that they are not racially conscious. The current generation doesn't have something that the older ones before them did have at their age.

Parents aren't teaching their children to be who they are and not compromise.
