Many of us have tried to adapt and conform to societal standards so whites would be more accepting. little did they know it takes away from your originality. All of us want to fit into this mainstream American culture and not offend anyone.hell, you even have some black people who will go out of their way to prove that they are not racially conscious. The current generation doesn't have something that the older ones .

I'm not the type to get mad easily but people like this piss me off. They need their ass beat.

I remember back when black people were the "cool" race.
Back when you could go a full year and every number 1 hit was from a black artist.
Back when everyone wanted to dress like us.
Back when even video games were based around our culture.

What happened? Nowadays shyt is weak as hell and on top of that white people put hands on black people whenever they feel like it wthout thinkin twice
Who else, cacs. They noticed their children changing at home becoming nigardly and decided they had to put an end to it. It wont work though because we always come up with the new shyt.

this is a trick question. it hasn't in fact black culture has gotten more popular. ratchet is the new black.

hopefully ratchet becomes uncool cause everyones doing it, and we can get back to 70s era enlightenment.

Hell,
Even in '88-'92 we had a conscious/enlightenment era with the new African movements. That shyt was dope seeing old and young brothers and sisters wearing Afro centric info graphic clothes of our ancestors. But gangster rap put it to its demise. 70's we wear at our peak as far as being self aware.
