Street = Yo Gotti, Gucci, Jeezy, TI, Kodak, Future, Young Thug, etc.

Conscious = stuff like TPAB, etc

Experimental = shyt like Yeezus and Odd Future

Conventional = Big Sean, Luda, Cole before his last album, Mac Miller, etc.

Introspective shyt is the best shyt for me.

When a rapper raps about his current mental state I swear it's the illest shyt ever. I remember listening to Too Deep for the Intro on Friday Night Lights and thinking, nikka are you rapping about me? Or when i hear some shyt like Drizzy's Fear and a nikka is basically airing out on his insecurities on wax. I fukk with that.

But then again I need a balance of ignant shyt too. I need my fix of Thugga to balance out the good shyt.
