Dana White's net worth is 300M, yet top guys in the UFC who are actually selling the fights don't even make $1M per fight. most of them dudes are fighting for $10,000-$50,000 per fight and the headliners for $100,000-$300,000 per fight.

Dana just lucked up and was best friends with two billionaire brothers who bankrolled the UFC for him. it's pretty amazing just how cheap that organization is. they rape their fighters.

People just love the sport and the competition. Once you get started, you get hooked to it.

I train for the fun of it and do some BJJ tournaments, but there's a lot of people in my gym that compete in smoker and amateur fights for no monetary reward just because they enjoy it. There's a couple of guys that are pros and get decent money from it, for them it's like having a part-time job that they love to do.

Not if you don't blow it all and if you're actually good and do it for 10-15 years in sure you could retire nicely and or coach maybe even open a gym and make more money. Not saying there's not risks involved he'll look at football. Major bodily risk and yet millions of kids/adults do it.

My boy brendan schaub talks about this all the time on his podcast. He's always talking about how lucky he is to be actually close friends with joe rogan, while having a personality and a strong fan base. He basically saying It's not really worth it putting your body through all that shyt man just for some cash that isn't that much, even Rogan himself tells brendan he shouldn't get back into fighting if hes financially good and if his heart isn't 100 percent committed to the pain he will endure.

Yeah that seems like some good money but that shyt goes quick and most of them dudes aren't marketable during their career so imagine after once its all set in done.

But I'm just saying that for our average joe whos like sure I'll take some punches to the face for some cash. Those dudes actually in the ring love the sport of fighting like no other. Most of them begin training at the age of 12 and never looked back. Those dudes are not some random scrubs you see boxing on worldstar.

I believe the only people to ever get into this profession sort of late and still have some success are Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar, but those guys are freak of nature so fukk this ufc shyt ahahah.

I say its not worth it.

I mean same with boxing really ... Yeah some get real rich but there's only so much that money can do for sustained beatings at the hands of Mike Tyson/Julio Cesar Chavez/Roberto Duran etc

Probably the type of person who doesn't care very much about getting punched in the face and doesn't have any other options...
