What made you make an alias account?

Without revealing who your alias is(unless you want to ) tell us what made you make an alias account? Was it to troll? Was it to rep yourself/neg others more?

And while we’re at it what’s the reason for the private profiles? A social media page I can understand but a profile page on a message board? What is there to keep private? Not criticizing, I genuinely want to know the reasoning behind it.

My reason for making an alias shortly after I joined was because some of my opinions do not need to be voiced behind the name of a worldwide organization that I am an active member of.

Anybody else?

Edit to add my alias is actually more active than this, the original account, and has a much greater dap/post ratio and a rep above 2500.

Never have.

Was on SOHH since 2001 with the same screename and no alts.

I changed it to some random gobbledygook (Ghost Utmost) when I signed up here - having realized the value of anonymity on these boards over the years.

SOHH nowadays I don't post my music or any photos or even get toooo specific about where I rest at.

But that's it. No alts ever.
