I got a subscription to The Atlantic as a gift two years ago. I enjoyed the storytelling and writing so much that I bought another year's subscription. I tend to light my news with minimum bias. The Atlantic is left of center. I also listen and read NPR as well.
I've been thinking of picking up The Economist since it veers on the side of economic implications of geopolitical issues and IMO will give me a broader view of what's going on. Time has always been center if I recall correctly.
