It depends on if you are going into debt for the degree or not, and how much debt. If you're going into a significant amount of debt, it better be for engineering, computer science, etc. Do not do it for a social science. Hell, I would say don't even do it for business/finance.

It's best you go for a degree in something you actually either enjoy or believe that you will excel in. There's no point in you busting your ass to get a degree in something because somebody's telling you it'll pay well only for you to get out of college, work a job in the field and hate it, and end up having wasted years of your life. So it all depends on your interests.

In order:
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pre Medecine/Health, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Math(BS only) Pure Math, Physics, Accounting (CPA).
If you go to a top 25 school, major in economics or political science or some shyt. Your network will take care of the rest.
