It was a HUGE comeback after they seemed dead in the water. They were beaten. Finished. It was over and then Shaq/Kobe did their magic and led that huge 4 quarter comeback to get that SURGE from Bryant/Shaq for the ALLEY OOP and that was a wrap. There was NO STOPPING THEM from being champions after that.

You had to be watching it live to understand. Early in that series and in the ECF, it looked like it might have been Lakers/Knicks in the Finals after the Knicks came back to tie Indiana 2-2. The Lakers were up 3-1 in the WCF and SHOULD have blown it. They were DOWN 16 in that game, but Kobe Da GAWD started to establish himself as a hall of fame player...it was that series that did it.

That shyt was incredible. You have to realize that it was essentially the championship game because the Blazers would have beaten the Pacers in the finals as well.
